Refresher and Update Course

The ASCCP Refresher and Update Course is designed to reinforce the core principles of colposcopy and cervical screening management through practical case discussions, guideline-based review, and evidence-informed clinical practice.

While presentations and supporting materials are continually reviewed and updated to reflect current practice and evolving guidelines, the overall course structure and core educational content remain broadly consistent from year to year.

The course is intended primarily as a refresher and consolidation program for clinicians seeking to maintain confidence and consistency in everyday practice. For this reason, annual or biannual attendance is generally not considered necessary for most clinicians, unless they are seeking additional revision, reinforcement of practice, or updates relevant to their individual learning needs.

Known as the "Update Course" this day and a half workshop is a specially curated program designed to provide the education needed to improve standards of care and outcomes for patients, regarding the diagnosis and management of the disease processes of the cervix, vagina and vulva.​​​​​
